A Historic Night for J-D Basketball
Friday was a banner night for the Jamesville-DeWitt Boys Basketball team. It held the 500th win for Head Coach Bob McKenney and the 1,000th career point for senior guard Jafar Kinsey- both on Senior Night, no less- as the Red Rams cruised to a 76-38 win over Chittenango.
School Board Accepts Gift for Turf Field
After a long year of fundraising and missed deadlines, the Jamesville-DeWitt Community Grounds for Action Committee can finally take a well-deserved sigh of relief. On Dec. 16, the J-D School District Board of Education made official their plan to accept the $1.2 million financial gift raised by the JDCGAC.
