Want to Respond to an Article? Write a Letter to the Editor.

Like many larger newspapers, the RamPage offers students the ability to send a letter to the editor. These letters should be relatively short (less than 400 words) and discuss a student’s view on a certain topic, comment on an article posted on the website, or respond to an issue.

When the current editor of a section gets a letter emailed to them, they will do the following: read the letter in its entirety, compare the content of the letter to the posted code of conduct, then publish it in its respective section. However, if the letter does not follow the posted code of conduct, the RamPage editorial staff reserves the right not to publish the letter. In addition to this, the RamPage editorial staff retains the right to publish an article in response to the letter received.
