Three J-DHS Clubs Connect for Fun in Downtown Syracuse

Students from Cultural Connections, UMOJA, and Outdoor Pursuits enjoy an afternoon on the ice at Clinton Square.

On Wednesday, December 12th almost forty J-DHS students boarded a yellow bus headed for downtown Syracuse. Students from Cultural Connections, Outdoor Pursuits, and Umoja Clubs joined forces for an afternoon and evening of fun, food, and good fellowship.

Tenaya, Escince, Noura, Da’Vaya, Toni Ann, & Naque are having a great time on and off the ice.

The first stop was Clinton Square Ice Skating Rink to enjoy some athletic activity in the Syracuse winter weather.

After working up their appetites from their ice-skating endeavors, the students and advisors went to Dinosaur BBQ for an early dinner.

J-DHS students enjoy a well-earned meal at Dinosaur Barbeque.

For many of these students, this was their first time ice skating as well as their first taste of Dinosaur BBQ. A great time was had by all.
