Summer Opportunities at Colleges

Muhammed Abdel-Aziz ’24

Summer programs are a great opportunity to investigate topics that interest you in ways that you aren’t able to in school or even through extracurricular activities during the academic year. They assist you in taking your work in a particular field to the next level and clarifying your personal interests. Colleges are providing opportunities for students in grades nine through 12 to get involved in many programs, including business, computer science, engineering, legal studies, writing, social science, mathematics, and physical and biological science. For grades 11 and 12, colleges are offering credits, with some being up to eight credits. However, the program may have a fee, and, unfortunately, not all the programs are online; some may be on campus.

Down below are links that will send you straight to the college website under summer programs:

Hey, I'm Muhammed Abdel and I'm the new Lifestyle assistant editor! This year, I'm a sophomore here at Jamesville-DeWitt High School and will be excited to write again for RamPage. Some things that I'm interested in are watching basketball and football. Some other clubs that I'm involved in are Model United Nations, DECA, Refugee Outreach, and am also the president of JD Debate.
