As Syracuse is slowly going back to normal since the pandemic began, concerts are starting to take action. These past few months, St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview, Westcott Theater, and the Oncenter Convention Center have decided to have singers perform at their locations this year. However, there will be a limited number of people that will be able to attend due to capacity restrictions.
Down below are a few of performers that came to Syracuse this past month:
- On August 28, Pitbull and Iggy Azalea arrived at St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview. The concert had around 17,000 attendees. With large groups of fans crowded around the area, many groups got in without a ticket.
- On September 3, AJR arrived at the Great New York State Fair at Chevy Park. The tickets to the concert were free but you had to enter from the front entrance of the fair. Tickets were $3. If the concertgoer was over 65 or under 12, admission was free. However, there was no limit to the number of people that were able to attend the concert.
- On September 6, artists Sleepy Hollow and Sheff G arrived at the Great New York State Fair at Chevy Park. Similar to AJR’s concert, the tickets to the event were free, but you had to enter from the front entrance of the fair. Tickets were $3. If over 65 or under 12, admission was free. However, there was no limit to the number of people that were able to attend the concert.
There are plenty of upcoming events that will take place in Syracuse. These events will either be at St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview, Westcott Theater, or the Oncenter Convention Center this September and upcoming October.
A few events that will be occurring at the locations are down below:
- On October 2, Zac Brown Band will be performing at St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview. The tickets start at a lawn ticket for $42.50, and pit seats for $485. The concert will start at 7 p.m. on a Saturday.
- On October 9, Lil TJay with a special guest, Kaash Paige, will be performing at the Westcott Theater. For general admission, tickets are $45, and meet and greet admission is $200. The concert will start at 3 p.m. on a Saturday.
- On October 17, Lil Durk & Toosii will be performing at St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview. The cost of a general admission ticket is $75, with the cost of a VIP offer being $150. The concert will start at 8 p.m. on a Sunday.
