Esports Team.
What does your club do?
We compete in various video games against high school students across the country. Example games are Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart 8, League of Legends, Madden, NBA 2K, and Rocket League. There are non-player roles as well, including tech support, marketing, and social media management.
Why should people join your club?
If you like playing video games competitively or want real-world experience supporting the team, this is the club for you.
When and where does your club meet?
Teams for each individual game will practice on their own days. Entire team meetings will happen occasionally.
Anything you’d like to say to students at J-DHS?
This is the first year for the Esports Team. We have plans in the future to expand the games list, get better equipment, and potentially make it a Varsity sport.
