What is your club called?

[Our club is] Drama Club.

What does your club do?

Drama Club is a place for J-DHS students to explore their theatrical passions, whatever they may be. We put on at least one show every year and hold theater workshops when we are not in rehearsals. Last year, we put on two full-length plays as well as a student written play festival. Students involved have the opportunity to act, direct, write, and more!

Why should people join your club?

Drama Club is a really amazing place for students to experiment in the theater. It is an incredibly supportive community and all students are welcome, regardless of theater experience. Drama Club is a great way to get involved with the performing arts at J-D in a safe, relatively low-stress environment.

When and where does your club meet?

We meet once a month in G18 when we are not rehearsing shows. Dates vary by the month. The best way to stay informed about meetings, auditions, and more is to join our Google Classroom. The code is smdytfq. We also post about our meetings on [our] Instagram [page, you can find it at] (@jamesvilledewittdrama).
