Bonjour, Prospective French Club Members

French Club is one of three language clubs offered at Jamesville-DeWitt High School. Known for its yearly trips to french-speaking Canadian cities (pre-COVID), French Club has one of the largest member populations in the school.

The following questions were answered by Shiela Phoha.

  1. What does the French Club do?

Gather together once a month to participate in fun French related activities. 

  1. What kind of students would like to be involved in the French Club?

Anyone who takes French or has an interest in French. 

  1. What are the French Club’s goals for this next year?

To get as many people involved as possible and to have a normal French club year. 

  1. Why do you think it’s important for students to get involved in the French Club?

The French culture and language is amazing and it’s a good way to improve your French but still have fun. 

  1. Any other information you feel is important to potential members.

In a normal year, if one does French Club, they are able to go on the French trip to Montreal or Quebec City.
