Each year, Cultural Connections Club hosts two International Food Fairs in the small cafeteria- one in the fall and one in the spring.
On November 15th, students from over ten different countries shared typical food from their cultures. The countries represented were Colombia, Cuba, Ukraine, China, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Dominican Republic, South Korea, Palestine, Puerto Rico, France, and Southern USA.
For a donation of $5, students and staff were able to sample all of this delicious food. In addition, people could get henna tattoos done by Mona Osman from Egypt. International Music was played in the background as well.
The club will host another food fair in the spring. The date has yet to be determined.
