What are you doing this Friday night? The Jamesville-DeWitt/Christian Brothers Academy Varsity Boys Hockey team invites you to their rematch against John Jay High School at Onondaga Nation Ice Rink. The team is excited to go against John Jay, the opponent they won against in the heated state finals last year. “This game will be more special than others,” said junior captain Ryan Durkin. “John Jay wants to get revenge on us so it will be tough,” added Durkin.
Despite Hockey Night’s big event status among J-DHS and CBA students, the team tries to treat it and prepare for it just like they would for any other game. The game starts at 7:30 p.m and after the game the students have the option to skate afterwards with the team until 11 p.m. The ice rink will be renting out skates for $3 and will be serving free refreshments. To get into the game it’s $1 for students and $2 for adults. Come and support the team and enjoy skating with your friends and family.
