Be prepared to duck, dip, dive and dodge on March 8, in the Jamesville-DeWitt High School Main Gym from 3:30-6:30, in the second annual Dodgeball Mania. Teams of middle and high school students from J-DHS will be dressed the nines and ready to reign victorious as kings (or queens) of dodgeball.
“Last year’s turnout was great. We’re expecting another huge crowd this year,” said senior class officer Chris Wood. All funds will be go to the senior class, but this event is also to raise awareness for the turf campaign, which had its plans approved in the Fall.
Sign-ups have already begun but continue through March 7 in the large cafeteria in the high school. Teams of five are eligible to compete at the tournament, which will be in the Main Gym from 3:30-6:30 p.m. on March 8.
